Designed around the mounting geometry of Specialized Tarmac SL7 and SL8, these ultralight disc brake adapters use metal 3D printing with CNC finishing. The hollow-core, FEA-optimized structure targets significant weight savings without sacrificing the strength of aerospace-grade TC4 titanium.
Choose the mount
- Front mount: 4.6g; supports 140mm / 160mm rotors
- Rear mount: 3.0g; for 160mm rotors
- SL8-specific front: 4.1g; 160mm only
- Fit: Direct-fit Specialized SL7 / SL8 factory mounting points
- Package: Adapter mount only; bolts not included
Construction and performance
The source specifies TC4 titanium, 3D printing followed by CNC post-finishing, and a finish accuracy of <0.02mm. The hollow-core structure and advanced FEA geometry are designed for high stiffness-to-weight ratio, precision fit and thermal stability during aggressive braking. Finish and installation
