Replace a heavier Center Lock rotor lockring with the Chaser ultra-light CNC lockring. Inner and outer designs are offered for compatible center lock disc-brake hubs, with anodized colors for a coordinated lightweight build.
Fit and tool requirements
- Hub / axle fit: Center Lock rotors and axle diameters of 12mm or less
- Not compatible: Fulcrum or Campagnolo wheelsets
- Inner lockring tool: Deep socket such as SuperB TB1010
- Outer lockring tool: Internal-clearance tool such as Parktool 69.2 or Shimano FC36
- Installation torque: 35–40Nm
Material and weight comparison
Precision CNC machined from ALU7075-T6 aluminum alloy for corrosion resistance and strength. The inner version weighs 4.7g and the outer version 5.5g. For reference, the source compares a 9.8g standard lockring and an 8.5g Shimano internal lockring with Chaser's 4.7g / 5.5g options.
